Betting on race horses can be a very lucrative. Usually you can bet anything you like on a race horse but in most places a minimum bet is required. There are various tracks anyone can wager at; thoroughbred, harness and quarter horse are some common examples.
There are various kinds of bets you can place at the race track. There is the Trifecta; betting on three horses but they must win in the order in which you bet them. This has a minimum wager of two dollars, one of the more expensive of the cheap bets. The second is the Trifecta Key, you bet on three horses. Pick one to be your key horse which must come in first and the other two have to come in second and third in any combination in order to collect with a minimum wager of a dollar. The Trifecta Box is the third way to bet by playing three horses. The horses must then finish first, second and third in any order. This one is a minimum of a dollar to bet.
